“This really is my favourite weekend of the year and it’s literally a mile up the road from my house! I’ve seen how The Brit Fest has grown since day one, and it’s such a joy to be part of something that celebrates everything great about music and community.”

Among the artists attending were Clive Jackson – The Doctor from Doctor and the Medics – who spoke about being invited back for a second year, and Nathan Moore, who confirmed both his main stage performance and his Saturday VIP marquee show as part of the all-new VIP Performance Stage. Pop trio Let Loose (Matthew, Rob and Lee) joined the celebrations, chatting with fans and sharing their excitement to perform, while Manchester swing singer Cole Page announced his exclusive VIP Sunday sessions.
The event also confirmed two major partnerships for the year ahead. ABC+ Warranty was announced as returning Title Partner for The Brit Fest 2026, with CEO Adele Reid taking to the stage to speak passionately about the company’s commitment to supporting creativity and enterprise in the region.
“The Brit Fest embodies everything we believe in; excellence, passion and connection,” said Adele.
“It’s about people coming together, celebrating music and imagination, and inspiring the next
generation of creators. We’re proud to continue our journey with this incredible festival.”

Seashell was also confirmed as the Official Charity Partner for 2026. Their beloved mascot Buddy the Bear made a surprise appearance on stage to receive a special gift, presented to Seashell student Max, who received a huge ovation from the audience.
“Partnerships like this mean so much to our students and families,” said Diane Gill from Seashell. “The warmth and enthusiasm from everyone involved with The Brit Fest is truly inspiring, it’s more than a festival, it’s a community that cares.”
Guests also heard from Rob Davenport, Chairman of Great British Festivals, the company behind The Brit Fest. Rob proudly spoke of the festival’s remarkable growth, its dedication to local and emerging talent, and its commitment to working closely with independent businesses.
“The Brit Fest stands for more than great music,” said Rob. “It represents collaboration, community, and opportunity. Seeing it grow while staying true to its roots is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
The night ended in rapturous applause as festival founders Edward and Anthony Prophet thanked guests, artists and partners for their continued belief and support setting the stage for what promises to be the biggest Brit Fest yet.
