Love, laughter and meaningful moments in the heart of the festival
Brit Fest 2026 will once again host something truly special alongside its music and celebrations, with Handfastings and Friendship Blessings hosted by Boho Blessings.
Rooted in the festival’s spirit of connection and community, these inclusive, non religious ceremonies give couples and friends the opportunity to celebrate their bond in a relaxed and joyful way, surrounded by the unmistakable energy of Brit Fest.

Festival Co Founder Anthony Prophet said:
“Brit Fest has always been about togetherness. It is about the people you arrive with and the memories you leave with. Offering handfastings and friendship blessings feels like a natural extension of everything the festival stands for.”
Handfasting is an ancient tradition symbolising commitment and unity. At Brit Fest it becomes a modern, heartfelt celebration for couples of any gender or background. Whether marking a pre wedding moment, a vow renewal or a spontaneous declaration of love, each ceremony is personal, symbolic and full of warmth.
Friendship blessings honour chosen family and lifelong mates, creating space to celebrate the people who share life’s journey with you.
Importantly, all funds raised through these ceremonies will support The Seashell Trust, helping children and young adults with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.

Theresa Benton, celebrant at Boho Blessings, said
“There is something incredibly powerful about celebrating love and friendship in a space already filled with music and joy. These ceremonies are relaxed, inclusive and completely centred on the people taking part. And knowing that every ceremony also supports Seashell makes them even more meaningful.”
If you are planning a 2026 summer wedding with incredible entertainment already built in and a ready made celebration atmosphere, Brit Fest might just be the perfect answer.
